Feedback form is now closed.
In this talk, the audience will be introduced to the vcluster open source project, which allows its users to create virtual Kubernetes clusters that run inside another Kubernetes cluster. You will find out how the vcluster achieves its status of a certified Kubernetes distribution, and how easy it is to start using it. The power of vcluster will be highlighted across many use cases that can benefit a big range of users, from developers and testers to DevOps specialists and platform engineers. Vcluster packs a number of small but powerful features that have the potential to unlock new applications for this project, and the audience should leave inspired to come up with ideas for new vcluster use cases, as well as ideas for extending vcluster features via its plugin system. You will find out what is a virtual Kubernetes cluster, and how it can be used. A quick demo will demonstrate how easy and fast it is to create a vcluster instance. Then we will dive deeper into the technical details to explain how vcluster works, and what are the key ideas and Kubernetes features that make it possible.
