Do you want to hack your own super-small-attack-surface distroless images, but don’t know where to start? Have you ever wondered why distro-less images were based on popular Linux distributions?

In this technical deep dive by the publishers of Ubuntu, we demonstrate the creation of distroless base images from stable packages from the Ubuntu distribution. For this session, we only require the use of well-known tooling: Dockerfile and scripts.

This talk is targeted at more advanced developers. You’ll get to learn the distroless principles and we will share with you our Ubuntu Distroless secret recipe.
