Lenka is an embedded software developer with a long history in the automotive and avionics industries. As a software specialist and requirements engineer, she has worked for STMicroelectronics, Skoda Auto, and Hood GmbH.She teaches and runs several research projects at Technical University in Liberec. Her main research focus is Embedded Linux and other embedded operating systems. She lectures Embedded Linux development courses for the Linux Foundation Trainings.
When she consulted on the Linux OS architecture for an upcoming mission with cube satellites, she discovered that, unlike the automotive industry, there was no initiative yet to address Linux in space. Thus Linux4Space.org was born.
